SOUL - A NAVIGATION GUIDE      (Excerpt)

SOUL – THE REAL YOU

While Spirit is the creator, the soul is its creation.

Soul is many. It is the multitudes behind the scenes… the affairs and romances of the heart. Soul is a game. It lets us be all the different players we really want to be.

One soul can inhabit more than one body. One body can house more than one soul. This complexity makes for both the instant recognition of “soul mates” and also the split personalities that we all seem to have with our bodies.

The soul straddles dimensions… the physical dimension and the spiritual. It hangs out between limits and no limits… time and eternity.

Soul has no edges. It is always changing, evolving. The emotions, mind, and body all melt into the soul. The soul experiences all three.

Souls do not concern themselves with “why” things happen. The soul doesn’t care about the causes of accidents, or happenings, but looks to use them to experience itself. The soul forms itself around happenings and creates important meanings from its particular view. The event or accident is the medium… the soul is the sculptor.

The soul does not dwell on hope. Hope is powerless. Decision is power. Hope is but a wish, a future desire.

Souls live through the laws of karma. A soul can live many lifetimes.

Soul is the glue that links the other dimensions. It plays with the mental, emotional and physical as if these were parts of a puzzle with infinite solutions.

Soul allows you to understand where your feelings are coming from. Soul allows you to have feelings. It encourages you to look at and enjoy your feelings.

Soul is what happens when you’re caught in the net of the moment, present time.

Soul speaks when you meditate and when you dream. Soul also speaks through emotions.

Soul allows you to be both teacher and student.

With the knowledge of the soul, one’s view on “Who am I?” is more complete.

Soul is what you are.
