The size of the plates generally range in diameter from 12 to 24 inches and less than 2 inches in depth. They weight less than 5 lbs. These pieces are well constructed, have rounded edges, and there are no protuberances to get broken. They are designed to be hung on walls with a regular hanging nail. Most pieces can be easily taken down and used as serving platters if desired. Each plate has 6 built-in hanging “feet”. A picture-hanging wire (holds 20 lbs) runs through a hole in each foot. (I have been using this system for over 20 years and have never had a foot or wire let go.) You also have the advantage of being able to hang the piece upside-down or any way you wish to be up. The ceramic wall sculptures are also
created using this system and likewise are strong and can be hung in any direction
