Portals

Places on Earth
Tiny crevices and mountain tops
Waterfalls and hot springs
Are portals to other dimensions.

We wander about our planet
With a vague sense of purpose
full of mystery
hope and fantasy.

We are looking for the way out
Out of the limits of this hard world
Out of our small bodies
Out of our minds
Out of our souls





 

 We want to go home
But we’ve lost the path.

Some places are portals
Openings
Doors
Windows
Holes
paths

Portals are vortexes of spinning energy
That once discovered
Allow us passage
by leaping
or falling
into another world

Where we grow more open.
